WibeZz & May-Ah Return With Bass-Driven New Single “DRIP”

Bass music producer WibeZz has reunited with Canadian singer May-Ah for their new collaborative release, “DRIP.” Out now, the track is the duo’s third official release together and follows a partnership that began after a memorable meeting in Australia.

Known offstage as Felix Wiele, WibeZz makes music at the intersection of dubstep, freeform bass and experimental 140. His productions bring together dense low-end, shifting sound design and tribal-leaning percussion, creating a sound designed for listeners who enjoy the more left-field side of bass culture.

May-Ah adds a contrasting but complementary element to “DRIP.” Her gentle, melodic vocals float through the track’s darker sonic palette, bringing a sense of emotion and vulnerability to WibeZz’s heavyweight production. The combination is a natural evolution of the duo’s earlier work, which began with their first track, “Illusions,” after they met at an outdoor doof in Australia three years ago.

Having previously released through a number of labels—many based in the United States—WibeZz continues to expand his sonic identity with each project. “DRIP” captures that adventurous spirit while showcasing the unique chemistry he shares with May-Ah.
