GABRY PONTE LEADS REVIVAL OF RAVE-ERA ANTHEM IN DARK, MODERN RE-WORK OF ‘OUTSIDE WORLD’ – OUT NOW ON PENTAPHONIA RECORDS!

Gabry  Ponte  takes charge on  heavyweight reinterpretation of one of trance music’s most untouchable records  ‘Outside World ‘ with  T78,  Rudeejay  and Da  Brozz . More than three decades after its original release,  the collective of talent  now  breathes new life into the  Sunbeam  classic with a contemporary production built for modern festival systems while preserving the emotional gravity that made the 1994 original a cornerstone of European rave culture.

First released at the height of Germany’s hard trance explosion,  ‘Outside World’  became a defining anthem of the underground, a record whose euphoric tension, dystopian atmosphere and unforgettable hook echoed through warehouses, clubs and open-air raves across the continent.  

Fast-forward to 2026, and  Gabry Ponte  has re-worked the well-known ‘Arika’ film sample, rebuilding the track from the ground up with sharper low-end pressure and cinematic intensity, while preserving the unmistakable melancholic melody of the original.  

DJ, producer and founder of PENTAPHONIA Records, Gabry Ponte,  continues to have a profound influence on European electronic music, expanding on a stadium scale. The Italian star recently made history as the  first DJ to headline a sold-out show at Milan’s San Siro Stadium ,  drawing more than 57,000 fans,  and is set to return on 27th June  2026 for another landmark performance.   

Joining him is Italian techno powerhouse  T78 , widely respected for its uncompromising, harder-edged techno sound. Alongside rising producers  Rudeejay  and  Da Brozz , the collective delivers a version of  ‘Outside World’  that  moves into heavier, more contemporary territory.
