Whisnu Santika’s Debut Album ‘Map of Feelings’ Marks a Bold New Chapter

Indonesian electronic music powerhouse Whisnu Santika has officially released his debut album, Map of Feelings. Known for his electrifying presence across festival and club stages, Whisnu now reveals a deeper and more personal chapter of his artistry, transforming years of emotional experiences into a complete body of work built around love, loss, relationships, dreams and the journey of growing through life’s highs and lows.

For years, audiences have known Whisnu Santika for the energy he brings to festival and club stages. Beyond the dancefloor, however, lies a collection of stories shaped by human experiences; from moments of love and heartbreak, to reflection and growth. Dance music remains at the core of his identity, but with Map of Feelings, every beat carries a story that is more personal, more vulnerable and more deeply human.

Throughout his career, Whisnu has expressed his emotions through individual releases. Map of Feelings marks the first time those stories come together as one complete body of work, revealing a bigger and more cohesive narrative that reflects his personal journey through life’s emotional landscapes.

Featuring collaborations with some of Indonesia’s most respected and exciting artists, Map of Feelings also brings together some of the biggest artists from across the country’s pop, alternative, folk and rock scenes. Up first, Ari Lesmana and eńau bring their signature sensitivity and lyrical depth to the project. Both known for their ability to transform personal experiences into universally relatable stories, their collaborations highlight the album’s themes of reflection, connection, and emotional honesty.

Judika, Rossa, and Ifan Seventeen bring some of Indonesia’s most iconic vocal identities to Map of Feelings. With decades of experience and a reputation for emotionally charged performances, they add a timeless quality to the album, capturing the intensity and vulnerability at the core of Whisnu’s songwriting.

Representing Indonesia’s next generation of storytellers, Nuca, Maul Ibrahim, and Fanny Soegi bring fresh perspectives shaped by contemporary pop, alternative, and folk influences. Their distinctive approaches to songwriting and expression add new dimensions to the album’s exploration of love, growth, and human emotion. Together, these collaborations transform Map of Feelings into more than a collection of songs; they create a shared journey where different voices, experiences, and emotions come together through electronic music. 

Finally, set for release on September 11 as the bonus track and closing chapter of Map of Feelings, “Sumpah Percuma” brings the album’s emotional journey to its conclusion, reflecting on the quiet loneliness that often exists beneath the surface of a seemingly fulfilled life. An extra special collaboration with iconic Indonesian singer Tiara Andini it leaves listeners not with answers, but with space to reflect on the meaning of connection, belonging, and the people who make life’s victories worth sharing.
